A different phone, yet again :)
I now have a different cell phone than the one I wrote about only a few months ago.
My slider phone was cool but it got absolutely horrible reception in my house because of the double insulation. My town in general didn't have the best. It was bad to the point that it wouldn't even ring, and I would get random voicemails from people who supposedly never called me (according to my phone). I called ATT and they sent me a replacement. Same deal; the phone didn't work at all. Then we went to an actual ATT store to see if it was the sim card, but no... not that either. So, another call to ATT was in order. This time when I called they told me that I would just receive another phone of the same make/model. I got frustrated, telling the lady that it wasn't the phone I had specifically, but the model. They said they couldn't do anything and that they would have to do the process 3 more times before I could get a different phone. At this point, I told them that it was pointless to do this, because I would just send them all back. They finally agreed to transfer me to a floor manager, and while on hold lo and behold... the phone dropped the call. Luckily they already had my number and just called me back. This little dropping of the call made my case so much stronger, and after 5 minutes of discussion on the phone with the manager she put me on hold to talk to her boss. She came back and happily informed me that I had 8 choices for the new phone. I picked the best option for me, and they even threw in a free car charger.
I chose an LG CU515 Plum colored phone. It's a dark purple so it is easy to spot and it has great reception overall. I love it!!! I guess it shows to fight for what you know is right and not give up if something is really wrong with something you have bought.
I recommend this to anyone having issues. If you argue for long enough (the whole process on that day was about 3 hours) you will get what you started out to obtain.

I just ordered this phone! Do you like it?
I do like that phone. :) It is sleek and powerful and pretty :) I think you will enjoy it immensely. I did notice that it got fingerprints very quickly, and i got a scratch on it too. But, I am rough on my phone!
Thanks for reading my blog, and please continue to do so!

I had the Nokia 6555 flip phone and had very similar difficulties! I had it replaced 5 times before I finally decided to get a different phone. It randomly turned off, wouldn't receive calls at strange times, and eventually erased applications such as 2 of my menu options, the calculator. and the countdown timer. I am extremely frustrated with ATT for not simply recalling the phone, especially since I had (several versions of) it for 9 months. Now that I finally decided the problem was the phone (not the battery or charger) and ordered a new one I'm really worried the same thing will happen and I'll only have 3 months left on my original 12 month guarantee. For my replacement I chose the purple LG CU515 as well and I'm praying it will not have the same problems.
