Grandma's Mother's Day tea

As a belated Mother's Day gift, my mom enlisted the help of me and my sisters to create a surprise tea for my grandma when she came out for Heidi's graduation.  It turned out great, and my grandma felt loved.

Happy Grandma!

Father's Day!

My hubby cooked for Father's day this year for my daddy.  We had shrimp cocktails, steak, baked potatoes, and a lot of other yummy food I'm sure.  Couldn't resist posting this picture of him eating shrimpies!

As I said, Nick cooked the steaks on the BBQ! Yay for a hubby who knows how to grill!

And, after he was done grilling he attempted to twirl Hannah's color guard flag lol!

Hannah watched in the grass while playing with Molly

And Molly fell asleep from exhaustion on top of my tennis shoes. :o)

Heidi's High School Graduation

Yep, another graduation post for Heidi.  This one is for her high school graduation though (June 11, 2009).  My little sister is all grown up... ;-( *Tear*

But really, I am proud of her for getting through high school and being involved with so many activities.  She is such a hard working person.  Love you Heidi!

Nick's 27th Birthday

Nick's 27th birthday was kick back and not that exciting.  We went to Marie Callender's for lunch, then to the movies to watch Star Trek, and lastly to Balboa Park to see the bodies exhibit.  We finished off the day with a strawberry milkshake from In-N-Out. :o)

Mother-Daughter Tea

Our church hosted a Mother-Daughter tea back in May and I got to go with my mommy, sister, and grandma.  It was a bunch of fun dressing up, drinking tea out of fancy glasses, and eating cute and scrumptious hors d' oeuvres.  It was a wonderful message and time of fellowship and I hope to make it a tradition yearly with my family.
